Companies that trust Software as a Service (SaaS) are achieving competitive advantages in terms of collaboration, analytics (for business decision-making) and market agility.  Ultimately, this results in a better customer experience, as explained in an article from Aranda Software.

Early adoption of Software as a service (SaaS), however, can be challenging in terms of implementation.  It is important to understand the on-boarding process and length of product education.  Companies that provide live, full service on-boarding and support, such as Trackforce, will ensure that this process runs as smoothly as possible. Furthermore, according to research carried out by Deloitte consultants, out of a group of IT managers from 26 different countries, 91% consider that Saas reduces time for implementation. Another 73% estimates that this kind of technology helps to reduce IT costs.

Related to the article from Aranda Software, there is a survey done by the Center of Information of Applied IBM of more than 800 IT executives which shows that one in five companies have deployed SaaS broadly across their organization. These companies also have the following in common:

·         79% are more likely to increase cooperation and communication across the Enterprise through the Saas.

·         More than double taken advantage of important analytics, transforming big data in intelligent information.

·         More than double are more likely to increase their innovation using SaaS.

The consultant firm Forrester informs that the 65% of business leaders have plans to purchase technology for their teams in 2017. The expectations of growth are very positive due to the fact that almost a half of the companies (48%) plan to implement Saas in a short-term (2 years) and a 26% consider that possibility.

A growing number of companies, whether it is a mall, a hotel or even a hospital, are using SaaS for physical security management. Features such as visitor management, centralized incident reports and workforce distribution are increasingly in demand.  This has resulted in a reduction of costs and increased efficiency in incident management, decreasing the chance of terrible litigations that can cause huge losses for the company. Saas systems, such as GuardTek, can help to avoid this and so many other challenges while improving the security management experience and centralizing data for the best decision-making.
